RAISING ROADS AND STREETS

Concrete Raising (mudjacking, slabjacking, pressure grouting, et al...) is the preferred and ideal solution in dealing with sunken concrete roads and streets. The primary advantage is the cost and the permanent nature of the repair. Additionally, as opposed to replacement repairs, concrete raising allows complete access to the roads immediately after the repairs.

Slabjacking is used across the country by municipalities ranging from the local level to the state transportation agencies.
The most common material is simply grout (See below left find out why grout is preferred over other materials). You can download typical material specifications here.

Contractors that do road work must have high volume mixing and pumping equipment as well as the experience to deal with the added complexities of raising heavy roads. To contact a qualified contractor that services your area, click here.
