Challenge

Home owner is concerned about bringing their home up to California's Building Code for Earthquake Preparedness.

Solution

Installing A35 Framing Angles, Universal Foundation Plates, and attaching Steel Mesh Sheathing to the Foundation walls. The Angles and Plates strengthen the connection between the Foundation and the Home. The Sheathing Strengthens the Foundation walls.

The Steel Mesh Sheathing is attached to the wall, with adhesive, and held in place by the Plywood. A Universal Foundation Plate is also pictured.
