Seismic Retrofitting a Home in Valley Village

Challenge

An older home was slowly shifting on its foundation. The homeowner wanted the property upgraded to meet California’s earthquake safety standards.

Solution

Saber installed Universal Foundation Plates, A35 Framing Angles, Post Caps, and steel wall-strengthening mesh. These upgrades stabilized the home, improved its structural connections, and brought it into compliance with the California Building Code for seismic safety.
