The 1926 Los Angeles homeowner faced persistent allergies due to mold spores, dust mites, and other allergens slipping in from the crawl space. This infiltration raised worries about poor air quality, excessive moisture, and the potential for mold growth. The added problem of debris buildup in the crawl space worsened indoor air quality, potentially causing breathing difficulties.

Saber's project design specialist conducted a meticulous inspection, revealing a humidity level of 51.6%.

Solution

Saber effectively managed the crawl space by clearing debris and implementing the crawl space encapsulation system.

First, they installed a drainage matting system, allowing air circulation beneath.

Next, Saber applied Clean Space sheeting over the drainage matting, tightly sealing the area. This dual-step method efficiently resolved moisture concerns and notably minimized allergen infiltration, leading to fresher and healthier indoor air.
