This before-and-after photo set highlights a patio concrete repair completed in Menifee, California, where sections of the concrete slab had settled unevenly beneath a pergola structure. Soil movement over time caused the patio slabs to sink and separate at the joints, creating uneven surfaces and increasing the risk of water intrusion below the concrete.

Our team repaired the area using PolyLevel® concrete lifting, injecting high-density polyurethane foam beneath the slabs to stabilize the soil and lift the concrete back toward a level, uniform surface. Once the slabs were properly aligned, NexusPro® joint sealant was applied along the control joints to seal gaps, protect against moisture intrusion, and allow for long-term expansion and contraction.

This repair restored both the appearance and functionality of the patio while helping prevent future settlement — an important consideration for Menifee and Southern California homes, where soil conditions, irrigation, and seasonal moisture changes can impact concrete over time.
