FOUNDATION NEEDS STABILIZATION IN LONG BEACH
Homeowner Greta M. of Long Beach was concerned about her foundation after buying her home in 2015. At that time an inspector had advised them that some of the posts in the crawl space had shifted. She could see the results of the shifting in the floor of her guest bathroom. Project Design Specialist Jason S. came out and did a complete evaluation of the crawl space and foundation. He proposed a solution of five helical piers and a supplemental metal beam to provide support and stabilization. Greta was very satisfied with Jason's visit, and writes "Jason was very knowledgeable and thorough. He took his time walking us through everything. We measured all the flooring with an altimeter so we could see exactly what the foundation was doing and how it was settling. He really knew his stuff and was very helpful." Greta will be going ahead with the project. Saber loves to bring peace of mind to homeowners!
Walkway repairs for Long Beach hospital
A hospital in Long Beach needed to either repair or replace their walkway due to it sinking.
A contractor for the hospital called Saber Foundation Repair to come out and inspect the concrete slabs. Hospital officials said they would prefer a quick and permanent solution to level and repair the walkway, as opposed to the time-intensive process of completely replacing it. They also knew that even if they replaced the walkway with new concrete, the issue might appear again as it wouldn't address the root of the problem.
Soil conditions are the most common problem for concrete issues. Saber's concrete leveling solution contains a polyurethane foam that would support the concrete slabs from underneath. This would offer support regardless of what was happening with the soil below.
Saber's concrete repair installation team worked quickly and diligently to level all of the slabs in the walkway and bring them back to their original position.

Garage Slab Lift in Trabuco Canyon
A homeowner in Trabuco Canyon called Saber to see what an effective solution for her sinking slab would be. Her garage door didn't close completely and there were gaps throughout the area. Saber's project design specialist was able to determine that PolyLevel injection below the garage slab would be the most efficient means to solve the problem.
Saber's PolyLevel crew was dispatched to the homeowner's property to lift the slab. Once the job began, the crew drilled small holes into the slab and as PolyLevel was injected underneath, the level of the concrete was closely monitored until the maximum expected lift was achieved. The holes were then patched with concrete, and the slab was at full load bearing weight in less than an hour.
The customer was impressed with the quickness of the crew's work and was able to close her garage door completely.
PolyLevel Grout Fill and Foundation Stabilization in Trabuco Canyon, Ca
Over the years living in their home, a family in Trabuco Canyon, Ca. noticed cracks in their interior walls and their floors were uneven in some areas. Their backyard patio slab was also cracking in areas. After reading Saber's outstanding online reviews, they called them for a free foundation inspection and estimate.
It was found by Saber's Project Design Specialist that the home's foundation had indeed settled, leaving the home unlevel. It was recommended that hydraulic push piers be installed at certain locations around the house in order to lift the home and prevent further settling. As for their back patio, PolyLevel polyurethane foam was recommended to lift the cracked sunken slab.
Once the production crew was on site, the work began. As brick and other cover were removed in order to dig holes for the piers, the foreman on the job site upgraded the project by adding 2 additional piers. The homeowner was confident that his home was in good hands and would have a permanent fix to his family's problem.
Along with the holes for each pier, a 10X2 foot trench was dug for steel beam supports. The second day saw more trenching as well as the holes dug for the final two piers of the project. The next day, the homeowner was present for the lifting of his family home. After the home was stabilized, Saber's PolyLevel crew came in and assessed the patio.
A small Poly rig completed 3in. void fill after drilling through grout lines. The injection of the foam went smoothly. All in all, 35 units of PolyLevel was used in the project. After the patio work was complete, both crews worked together to backfill over the piers and clean the job site.
Overall, the homeowner and his family were pleased with the outcome of the project. Now they could rest assured that their home would stay level and their children would be able to play on their outdoor patio without tripping or catching toys on cracks.

Piering, PolyLevel, and Drainage System Install in Rancho Santa Margarita, Ca.
A homeowner in Rancho Santa Margarita, Ca. saw a few foundation repair contractors when they first started seeing signs of foundation failure. Once they had the work done by a company, they thought their problems were over. However, a year later, they saw that their floors were cracking and shifting again. The polyurethane that was pumped under their floors and slab was failing. They reached out to Saber to hopefully solve their foundation issues for good.
Saber's project design team went out and determined that not only did the home need some additional poly, but the slab foundation needed stabilizing push piers to permanently stabilize the home. Much of the old poly from the previous company had to come out. It was also determined that an in-ground drainage system needed to be installed to redirect water away from the home and foundation.
Once the production crew came to the home, the project began. The foreman, Curtis Larson, discussed the project with the homeowner and what the end results were expected to be. The customer expressed his need for level floors and closed cracks that had formed in the walls inside and outside of the home.
Concrete was removed and holes were dug in order to insert the stabilizing piers. There were roots 2-4 inches thick, making the going tough for the team. Once the roots and old foam insert was removed, the crew was successfully able to install the piers. Once the home was lifted and stabilized, the soil under the raised slab was backfilled and compacted. The customer was pleased with the level of lift.
PolyLevel needed to be injected into the homeowner's kitchen, living room, and main hall area, leveling the areas. Another crew began trenching for the drainage system, PVC pipe, for future water re-direction. Roots were cleared in order to successfully pay the pipe and install the system. The customer was happy to learn that any rain or other water wouldn't compromise the soils around his foundation.
