SEAWALL ISSUES IN CANYON LAKE
Canyon Lake homeowner Connie S. was looking for help with her patio, which resulted from the seawall pulling away from her patio. Project Design Specialist Steven O. proposed a solution of PolyLevel, which included lifting the concrete deck and deep injection to address the seawall issues, and NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal concrete cracks to prevent water intrusion in the future. Living near water can bring up issues that landlocked homeowners don't need to address. Further erosion will be prevented by lifting the slab and sealing the cracking joint. Crew Foreman Scott L. and Jamin C. handled the project. Speaking of her overall experience with Saber, Connie writes, "Looked into different companies to level my cement slab attached to my seawall on the lake. Your representative Steven was very knowledgeable, patiently explaining everything to us. Your crew who came out to do the job was also very knowledgeable and hardworking. Your lead man Scott and his helper were awesome." Saber is committed to excellence from the beginning to the end of our projects. That's what we call our WOW! service.

Push Pier Foundation Repair & Slab Stabilization in Twentynine Palms, CA
Severe Foundation Settlement Threatened the Structural Integrity of a Desert Home A slab-on-grade home in Twentynine Palms experienced major structural settlement after a hidden plumbing leak gradually washed out supporting soils beneath the foundation. Over time, the damage became impossible to ignore as the rear portion of the home began sinking dramatically below the rest of the structure. The back two bedrooms settled approximately six to eight inches, causing severe differential movement throughout the slab foundation. As the foundation shifted, vertical cracks developed within the structure, doors became stuck in their frames, and portions of the home visibly moved out of alignment. The homeowners understood that the problem extended far beyond cosmetic damage. Concerned about structural safety, long-term stability, and declining property value, they began searching for a permanent foundation repair solution rather than temporary patchwork fixes. Previous Repair Recommendations Failed to Address the Real Problem Before contacting Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair, the homeowners explored several repair options from contractors offering cosmetic crack sealing, grout filling, and partial slab replacement recommendations. However, none of these solutions properly addressed the underlying soil instability beneath the home. After researching foundation repair near me and reviewing local contractor experience throughout Southern California, the homeowners chose Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair for a full structural evaluation and permanent repair plan. Comprehensive Foundation Inspection Revealed Soil Washout Beneath the Slab During the inspection process, the foundation repair specialists at Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair performed laser-level mapping and soil analysis to identify the source of the settlement. The inspection revealed that expansive clay soils beneath the slab had been severely compromised after the plumbing leak washed away supporting material beneath the affected areas. As the soils weakened and voids developed beneath the slab, the rear portion of the home gradually lost support and settled unevenly. To permanently stabilize the structure, the team designed a custom push pier underpinning system engineered to bypass the unstable upper soils and transfer the structural load onto deeper, stable load-bearing strata. Push Pier Installation & Structural Slab Reconstruction The repair strategy involved installing eight heavy-duty galvanized steel push piers beneath the affected foundation areas. Each pier included protective sleeving for increased torsional strength and long-term durability in the desert soil conditions common throughout the Twentynine Palms region. The steel push piers were hydraulically driven more than 45 feet beneath the home until they reached stable supporting soils capable of permanently supporting the structure. To reinforce the repair system, the crew also constructed a new reinforced concrete grade beam measuring approximately 12 inches by 18 inches. Dual #4 reinforcing steel bars were installed throughout the beam to tie the push pier system into the original footing and create a stronger, more stable structural connection. Over the course of five carefully coordinated workdays, the team gradually lifted the settled portions of the slab foundation in controlled increments to reduce structural stress during the stabilization process. Hidden void spaces beneath the slab were then filled using structural slurry injection to improve support conditions beneath the home. Finally, a new 5-inch concrete slab was installed and integrated into the reinforced grade beam system, restoring a solid and continuous foundation surface ready for interior restoration and flooring installation. The Results After the repairs were completed, the floors were restored to within approximately one-eighth of an inch of their intended elevation. Structural cracks stabilized, doors operated normally again, and the home regained proper alignment throughout the affected areas. The homeowners were relieved to have a permanent foundation stabilization solution backed by a 25-year transferable warranty. In addition to restoring structural integrity, the repairs helped recover the home’s market value and provided long-term protection against future settlement.   By combining deep push pier underpinning, reinforced concrete grade beams, and structural slab restoration, Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair successfully transformed a severely settled home into a stable and secure structure designed for long-term performance in Southern California desert soil conditions.
Sunland Pool Deck Saved: How Saber Foundation Repair Lifted a Sinking Backyard-and Anxiety-in One Morning
In Sunland, CA, a family watched the concrete surrounding their backyard pool settle year after year. Fine hairline fractures widened into a jagged crack that split the deck, drainage covers tilted, and a once-smooth walkway developed hazardous trip points. Besides spoiling summer fun, the sinking slab threatened the pool’s plumbing and the home’s resale value. Uneven slabs also made daily maintenance risky; carrying chemicals and gear across unstable concrete amplified safety worries.   The Search for a Solution Hoping for a quick fix, the homeowners first tried patching joints and caulking cracks, but seasonal soil movement reopened every repair. Traditional mud jacking appeared messy and heavy—exactly the wrong approach for a poolside surface that demanded precision and minimal downtime. Realizing the problem exceeded DIY territory, they looked for a specialist who could provide a lasting answer rather than another stopgap.   Why Saber Foundation Repair? Online reviews consistently praised Saber Foundation Repair for transparent assessments and modern technology. A complimentary inspection confirmed that expansive soils beneath the deck had washed out, creating voids that allowed the concrete to settle unevenly. Saber’s inspector explained how the lightweight, high-density PolyLevel® polyurethane foam could lift the slab, lock it in place, and seal voids—all with holes no larger than a dime. That combination of science, experience, and a clean installation schedule convinced the homeowners they had found the right partner.   The Repair Process On the agreed date, Saber’s crew arrived before 9 a.m. and walked the project with the owners. Following the proven four-step PolyLevel® process, technicians first bored ⅝-inch injection points at strategic locations along the yellow chalk line mapping the lowest spots. Discreet ports inserted into each opening guided the expanding foam precisely beneath the slab. As the two-part polymer reacted, it gently lifted the concrete back to its original elevation, closing cracks and realigning drainage covers. Within minutes, the material reached full strength, resisting water intrusion and future erosion. Finally, the crew removed the ports, patched each opening with color-matched cement, and power-washed the deck. By early afternoon, the poolside was ready for foot traffic.   Transformation – The After The change was immediate and dramatic. The prominent crack that once sliced across the deck closed tight; the walkway along the filter equipment lay flush and smooth; the sunken drain near the garden island sat level, restoring proper runoff. With the eyesore eliminated, the yard regained its inviting appeal, and the homeowners regained peace of mind. Most importantly, the lightweight foam preserved the soil rather than weighing it down, ensuring a long-term solution rather than a temporary reprieve.   Emotional Engine – The Power of Trust Foundation and concrete issues seldom improve on their own—erosion accelerates, and repairs grow costlier. Saber Foundation Repair builds confidence by sharing data-backed evaluations, written warranties, and courteous communication from scheduling to cleanup. That transparency reassures families that their biggest investment is protected by proven expertise rather than guesswork.   New Era – A Win for Everyone Restoring the pool deck revived not only the property’s safety but also its value. Prospective buyers now see a level, attractive outdoor space instead of potential liability. Across Sunland and greater Los Angeles, Saber continues to apply the same PolyLevel® technology—environmentally safe, waterproof, and far less invasive than old-fashioned concrete jacking—to sidewalks, driveways, patios, and interior slab floors.   Call to Action If cracks, settlement, or uneven slabs threaten your pool deck, patio, or foundation, act before minor flaws become major expenses. Schedule a free inspection with Saber Foundation Repair today and discover how a swift, clean PolyLevel® application can restore both your concrete and your confidence.
