Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation and Vapor Barrier Installation in Los Angeles, CA

A Los Angeles homeowner who had experienced mold issues contacted Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair to improve the conditions in the crawl space beneath their home. The project began with the removal of debris from approximately 980 square feet of crawl space and the removal of 88 square feet of insulation. Clearing the area gave the crew access to prepare the ground and install the encapsulation system. The work included 1,404 square feet of CleanSpace vapor barrier, an Aprilaire E100 dehumidifier, an EverLast crawl space access door, and 10 feet of sump pump discharge line. The vapor barrier covers the ground beneath the home, while the dehumidifier helps manage humidity inside the enclosed space. This album follows the project from cleanup and exposed soil through vapor barrier installation to views of the finished crawl space.
