Seismic Retrofitting A Crawlspace By Replacing Unsupported Posts In Whittier, Ca
The before photo shows a crawl space with unsupported posts. Because the posts are unsupported the floor is starting to gas as the posts shift with time and seismic activity. In the after photo, we installed post caps to ensure the posts stay in place and can be more stable during a seismic event.
