Seismic Retrofitting a Los Angeles Home Built in 1924
The Before Picture shows a Crawlspace wall under a home built in 1924. This home hasn't been Seismic Retrofitted.
The After Picture shows a Seismic Retrofitted wall under this same home. Cripple wall Sheathing (heavy duty industry standard metal mesh) has been adhered to the wall. Then Plywood is used to seal and hold the mesh in place. This strengthens the existing walls.
