PolyLevel and Piering in Santa Ana, Ca.
A man recently purchased a Santa Ana, Ca. home with plans to renovate, 'flip', and sell the home. Upon further inspection at the time of purchase, it was found that the home and the neighboring tennis court on the property had experienced severe settlement and sinking. The homeowner was unaware of exactly what problems had caused the cracks in the interior and exterior walls and stucco of the home since it was built in 1989. The tennis court was found to have sinking slabs, creating poor drainage and trip hazards for anyone looking to buy the home and enjoy the sport.
Upon calling Saber for an inspection and estimate for repairs, the homeowner stressed that he wanted to boost the resale value of the home once all renovations and improvements were made. During their inspection, Saber found that one area of the home itself had settled. It was determined that 12 288 push piers around the compromised area of foundation would prevent further sinking and lift the home to maximum practical recovery. PolyLevel expanding foam beneath the slab for soil stabilization would also aid in the prevention of further sinking.
Each PolyLevel port was spaced 4' apart on the floor of the home and the piers were placed at the base of the foundation's footing, around the perimeter of the sinking area of the home's foundation. PolyLevel was also installed underneath areas of the tennis court through dime-sized ports that were later sealed. The production crew was able to level the court slabs, eliminating trip hazards and areas where water pooled after rain.
With the leveled tennis court and stabilized area of the home's foundation, the property's chances of being resold with increased value were improved. The homeowner was confident that he could move forward with the home's other renovations and repairs, now that the foundation of the home was secured.

Foundation Settlement Repair & Push Pier Stabilization in Santa Ana, CA
A potential homebuyer in Santa Ana contacted Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair to evaluate a property showing signs of foundation settlement before moving forward with the purchase. Structural settlement can significantly impact the safety, value, and long-term stability of a home, making a professional foundation inspection especially important during the home-buying process.
During the inspection, Saber’s foundation repair specialists performed a detailed structural assessment of the property and discovered multiple areas affected by settlement movement. One section of the home had settled more than three inches lower than surrounding areas, indicating significant differential foundation movement caused by unstable supporting soils beneath the structure.
As the foundation settled unevenly over time, the structural load of the home became improperly supported, increasing the risk of wall cracking, uneven floors, sticking doors and windows, and continued structural damage if left untreated.
To permanently stabilize the property and prevent future settlement, the team recommended installing a heavy-duty steel push pier foundation repair system. Push piers are engineered to transfer the structural load of the home onto deeper, stable load-bearing soil beneath the weaker upper soil layers responsible for the settlement.
Once installed, the push pier system permanently reinforces the foundation while helping reduce the risk of continued movement and additional structural damage. Push pier underpinning is one of the most effective long-term foundation stabilization solutions for homes throughout Southern California experiencing settlement caused by shifting soil conditions.
By providing a comprehensive structural evaluation and engineered foundation stabilization plan, Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair helped give the potential homeowner the information needed to make a confident and informed decision about the property while offering a permanent solution to the home’s settlement concerns.
