Once Constant Elevation was obtained, we filled the voids with Polyurethane, using Saber's State-of-the-Art PolyLevel Injection Process. Then Nexus Plus was applied to fill in the cracks, and give the concrete a finished look. The attached picture shows the walkway after Nexus Plus was applied. Foundation Settlement Repair & Push Pier Installation in Laguna Hills, CA
A homeowner in Laguna Hills contacted Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair after noticing signs of foundation settlement affecting the structural stability of the home. As the foundation footing gradually dropped over time, structural movement began causing visible damage throughout the property. To properly diagnose the issue, Saber’s foundation repair specialists performed a detailed structural evaluation and elevation analysis of the home. During the inspection, measurements confirmed that portions of the footing had settled unevenly due to unstable supporting soils beneath the structure. As the footing dropped, stress transferred throughout the foundation system, increasing the risk of wall cracking, floor movement, and additional structural damage if left untreated. To permanently stabilize the home, the team recommended installing a heavy-duty push pier foundation repair system. The installation crew carefully excavated targeted areas around the home to prepare for push pier placement beneath the settling foundation sections. Heavy-duty steel push piers were then attached directly to the footing and hydraulically advanced deep into stable load-bearing soil beneath the weaker upper soil layers responsible for the settlement. Once the push piers achieved proper depth and load-bearing capacity, the system permanently transferred the structural load of the home onto stronger supporting soils, helping stabilize the foundation and reduce the risk of future movement. Push pier underpinning is one of the most effective long-term foundation stabilization solutions for homes experiencing settlement issues throughout Southern California due to shifting soil conditions.   By utilizing engineered push pier technology, Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair successfully restored structural stability to this Laguna Hills home while helping protect the property from continued foundation settlement and structural damage for years to come.
Foundation Settlement Repair & Pool Deck Stabilization in Laguna Hills, CA
A homeowner in Laguna Hills began noticing signs of foundation settlement after living in the home for more than 30 years. Due to shifting Southern California soil conditions, portions of the foundation and surrounding concrete areas had gradually settled over time, creating concerns about the long-term structural stability of the property. In addition to foundation movement, sections of the slab and pool area showed signs of sinking and uneven settlement, increasing the risk of cracking, structural stress, and unsafe walking surfaces around the property. Wanting a permanent repair solution, the homeowner contacted Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair for a professional foundation inspection and structural evaluation. During the inspection, Saber’s foundation repair specialists carefully evaluated both the home’s foundation and the surrounding pool deck areas to determine the extent of the settlement. The inspection confirmed that unstable supporting soils beneath the property had contributed to uneven movement affecting both the structure and exterior concrete surfaces. To permanently stabilize the home, the team recommended installing 16 heavy-duty steel push piers beneath the affected foundation areas. Push piers are engineered to transfer the structural load of the home onto deeper, stable load-bearing soil beneath the weak upper layers responsible for the settlement. This foundation underpinning system helps lift, stabilize, and permanently reinforce settling structures throughout Southern California. To address the sinking slab and pool deck areas, the team also utilized PolyLevel® polyurethane foam injection technology. The lightweight expanding foam was injected beneath the affected concrete surfaces to carefully lift, level, and stabilize the settled slabs while filling underlying void spaces beneath the concrete. By combining push pier foundation stabilization with PolyLevel® concrete lifting technology, Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair successfully restored stability to the home and surrounding pool area while helping protect the property from future settlement-related damage. Following the completion of the repairs, the homeowner was especially pleased with both the structural results and the professionalism of the installation crew. The push piers were installed to the necessary depth required to properly stabilize the home, and the completed cleanup process exceeded expectations — an important part of Saber’s commitment to delivering long-term solutions and exceptional customer service throughout Southern California.
Post and Pad, CleanSpace, Remove and Replace in Hawthorne
Saber Foundation was called to a home in Hawthorne, CA to inspect and evaluate major cracks both within and along the outer walls of the stuccoed home. After inspection, it was determined that about 3/4 of the house was experiencing major settlement. The raised foundation contained numerous cracks and all existing post and pads were in terrible shape. When Saber's piering team arrived, they got right to work. First, post pads were installed, backfilled, with concrete poured back. One special twist for this job was that the homeowner and family were able to leave their mark on their home by leaving handprints in the newly poured concrete. Next, the team removed and replaced 12 post and pads in the crawlspace and installed AC post caps on all posts. In order to install part of the piers, the team had to remove and put back a part of the patio deck. Saber was able to alleviate this family's foundation problems by halting any further settlement on 2/3 of the home and reinforced all beams underneath the domicile. The clients were super happy throughout the process.
Foundation Crack Repair & Push Pier Stabilization in Hawthorne, CA
A homeowner in Hawthorne became concerned after noticing cracks spreading throughout the walls of the home — a common warning sign of foundation settlement and structural movement caused by unstable supporting soils beneath the property. As the cracking worsened over time, the homeowner contacted Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair for a professional foundation inspection and permanent stabilization solution. During the inspection, Saber’s foundation repair specialists discovered underlying soil voids beneath portions of the foundation. As these unsupported gaps formed beneath the structure, sections of the foundation began sinking unevenly, creating structural stress that transferred throughout the home and caused the wall cracking. To permanently stabilize the structure, the crew installed heavy-duty steel push piers beneath the affected foundation areas. The push piers were attached directly to the base of the foundation and hydraulically advanced deep into stable load-bearing soil beneath the weaker upper soil layers responsible for the settlement. Once the push piers achieved proper depth and capacity, the system was carefully pressurized to lift the settling portions of the home back toward a more consistent elevation. This process helped strengthen and permanently stabilize the foundation while reducing the risk of continued movement and structural damage. After the lifting operations were completed, polyurethane foam injection was used to fill the underlying void spaces beneath the foundation. The expanding foam helped restore support beneath the slab and improve overall soil stability beneath the home.   By combining push pier foundation stabilization with polyurethane void filling technology, Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair successfully restored structural stability to this Hawthorne home while helping protect the property from future settlement and foundation-related damage common throughout Southern California.
