Torrance resident Hazel G. contacted Saber regarding Foundation issues in her home. She wanted to sell her home, which was built in 1950. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a thorough inspection and located voids under the the Foundation. Areas of the Foundation were sinking into these voids, which created cracks and weakening. Saber's crew excavated holes next to the home (attached Picture). Then Push Piers were installed under the base of the Foundation. The Piers were then pressurized, which lifted Foundation. Drainage was installed also, to alleviate standing water issues. Then our crew cleaned up their work areas. Hazel was happy with the result.

Los Angeles resident Dennis B. contacted Saber regarding bringing his home up to California Building Code, by Seismic Retrofitting the Crawlspace. Our Crew installed Universal Foundation Plates (attached picture), and A35 Framing Angles to the home, and the foundation. This strengthened the connection of the home to the foundation. Dennis now has peace of mind that his home won't slide off of it's foundation during a earthquake.

The connection between the home and Foundation was weakening. Support Posts were tilting, and becoming detached in the Home's Crawlspace. Saber's crew installed Universal Foundation Plates, and A35 Framing Angles, to strengthen the connection between Jose's Home and it's Foundation. We then Straightened out the Tilting Support Posts, and strengthened the attachment to the Home and the Concrete base, by attaching Post Caps (pictured). Last of all we added All Metal Smart Jacks, to add more support to the floors.

A homeowner in Torrance became concerned after discovering cracking throughout both the interior and exterior walls of the home. Structural wall cracks are often one of the first visible warning signs of foundation settlement and can indicate deeper structural issues developing beneath the property. Voids were found under the patio. Culver City resident Valle A contacted Saber regarding cracking in his home driveway. A Saber project design specialist performed a complete evaluation. The soil under the driveway was unstable. Our crew, using the Saber state-of-the-art PolyLevel soil stabilization corrected this situation.  Valle was satisfied that this situation has been corrected and will not get worse in the future. Valle also liked the post-job cleanup.
