CleanSpace in Solana Beach
Foreman Dustin Wyatt and his team were tasked with helping a family in Solana Beach rid their crawlspace of moisture and preventing it from causing the temperature in their home to rise. They were experiencing astonomical electric bills and needed a permanent solution.
Though there were no visible signs, the Saber team used a hygrometer to detect humidity in the crawlspace. After diagnosing the problem, Saber proceeded to begin with drainage matting, allowing any water to flow out in the event there is a broken pipe or something else causing extremely wet conditions. A pink wall was tehn attached to the concrete foundation wall, acting as a vapor barrier accompanied by caulking.
Saber's blue matting is then cut and and placed on top of the drainage matting and attached to the pink wall using posts and seamless tape.
Saber was able to solve the homeowner's problem of a humid and moist crawlspace by installing CleanSpace to prevent any humidity entering the crawlspace to no longer touch the soil and create moisture, therefore greatly reducing the amount of relative humidity throughou their home. The homeowner was very interested in the process, was present to view the installation, and is more than pleased with the final result.
