The crew first removed the deteriorated wooden support post and replaced it with a heavy-duty SmartJack® crawl space support system. The adjustable steel SmartJack® was installed beneath the sagging beam areas to provide permanent structural reinforcement and help restore support beneath the floor system. SmartJack® systems are specifically designed to stabilize sagging floors and strengthen weakened crawl space framing in homes affected by settlement, moisture intrusion, or aging structural supports. To further stabilize the home’s foundation, heavy-duty steel push piers were also installed beneath the affected foundation areas. The push piers were hydraulically advanced deep into stable load-bearing soil beneath the weak upper soil layers responsible for the settlement. Once installed, the push pier system permanently transferred the structural load of the home onto stronger supporting soils, helping lift and stabilize the foundation while reducing the risk of future settlement. Homeowner Peter Karambella Jr had a very bad issue with his pool deck in El Cajon being severally cracked. When the homeowner first moved in the house was brand-new and had perfect concrete. After living in his home for twenty years the concrete was starting to crack from voids underneath. Saber's customer in El Cajon had noticed numerous symptoms of foundation settlement in her home. There were cracks on the interior walls of the home, and their windows wouldn't close properly at one end of the home. In order to provide a permanent fix for her foundation issue, Saber's team installed push piers and poly level. This helped to level the slab and to stabalize her foundation.

We then used Saber's State-of-the-Art PolyLevel Injection Process to fill the void. The attached picture shows the PolyLevel equipment set up. This raised the slab and eliminated the trip hazard.  Mike was satisfied with the completed work.
