Challenge
The property owners wanted their home updated to meet California’s present earthquake-resistance standards as outlined in the state’s Building Code.
Solution
To achieve compliance, Saber’s team installed Universal Foundation Plates, A35 Framing Angles, and Post Caps, then adhered foundation-strengthening mesh to the structure. This approach reinforced the foundation walls and improved the overall connection between the home and its foundation, ensuring better performance during seismic events.
