Norwalk resident Nancy T. contacted Saber regarding a sagging area of the floor of her home. The French doors were difficult to open and close also. Saber's project Design Specialist performed a Free Homeowner Inspection. The Crawlspace support posts were failing in this area of Nancy's home. Saber's crew excavated holes in the Crawlspace. We filled these holes with gravel. New All Metal Smart Jacks were installed on top of this gravel (attached picture). The Jacks were then pressurized, to give the floor, in this area, a consistent elevation. Nancy's home is now more stable, has no sagging floors, and has French Doors that function properly.

Homeowner Mr. Perez in Bloomington, CA faced a pressing issue: his manufactured home needed foundation repairs and leveling. Uneven floors and a dragging front door were clear indicators of this problem. Frustrated with these issues, Mr. Perez turned to Saber for assistance. Upon contacting us, our design specialist, Jason S., promptly evaluated the property. He thoroughly assessed the manufactured home, identifying the problem areas and discussing a viable solution.   Foundation Settlement Threatened the Stability of a Family Home A homeowner in Bloomington began noticing concerning signs of foundation settlement while preparing to purchase a family home originally built in 2000. Structural movement around the property had become increasingly noticeable, particularly near the garage and exterior concrete surfaces. The garage showed signs of shifting, while sections of the driveway concrete slabs had started sinking and settling unevenly. These issues raised concerns about the long-term structural integrity of the home as well as the potential for worsening damage over time. Wanting to protect the property and ensure the home would remain safe and structurally sound for years to come, the homeowner contacted Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair for a free foundation inspection and professional evaluation. Foundation Inspection Identified Structural Settlement Concerns During the inspection, the foundation repair specialists at Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair evaluated the structural movement affecting the garage and surrounding concrete areas. The inspection confirmed that sections of the home’s foundation were experiencing settlement caused by unstable soil conditions beneath the structure. As the supporting soils shifted and weakened, portions of the foundation and surrounding concrete slabs began losing support and settling unevenly. Because Southern California homes are frequently exposed to expansive soils and seismic activity, the homeowner wanted a permanent foundation stabilization solution that would help protect the structure against future movement and structural stress. Push Pier Foundation Stabilization Solution To permanently stabilize the home, the team recommended installing a push pier underpinning system beneath the affected foundation areas. Heavy-duty steel push piers were designed to transfer the structural load of the home onto deeper, stable load-bearing soil beneath the weaker upper soil layers responsible for the settlement. The push pier system would help reinforce the foundation while reducing the risk of continued movement in the future. Frustrated by these safety concerns, Frank decided it was time for a change. Seeking a solution, he turned to Saber for help. Our team quickly responded, sending our skilled design specialist to inspect his property. Through a thorough examination, our specialist, John, identified the problem areas and proposed our Polylevel service as the solution to fix and stabilize the uneven concrete slabs. Understanding the benefits of Polylevel, which involves filling voids underneath and sealing cracks caused by the lifts in the concrete slabs, Frank saw the potential to address his pain points. La Palma resident Linda W. contacted Saber regarding cracks that were growing Larger between her home and it's foundation. Saber's project Design Specialist performed a Free Homeowner Inspection. Voids had formed under the foundation. Areas of the the foundation were sinking into these voids, causing the walls and the foundation to crack. Saber recommended attaching Push Piers to the foundation, and filling the voids with Polyurethane. The homeowner got a copy of the inspection report and a written 30 day quote.

A community church was in need of improving the safety of their parishioners. Various trip hazards had developed over the years on the property's walkways, stairways, and in other areas. They also wanted to eradicate unsightly cracks and improve the look of their church's landscape.  Saber was called in for a free inspection of what it would cost to grind down the trip hazards. There were found to be 11 areas needing to be leveled out through dustless grinding. They included the walk paths, an area at the top of the main stairs, in front of the base of the stairs, as well as alongside a city sidewalk bordering the property.  The project only took a day to complete and didn't cause the disruption of any services or other events. The church's staff appreciated the efficiency of the project and appreciated that their parishioners were much safer from trip and fall risk. This seemingly small change to the property provided a much-needed facelift and improvement. 

Jim from Pasadena Covenant Church contacted Sabre regarding the safety of the floors in the church. The Church Board was also concerned. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a complete inspection of the building. The crawlspace had improper support for the floor of the church. some of the older support posts were starting to tilt and fail. Our Crew attached Steel I Beams to the existing Joists. Then new cement pads were poured and all Metal Smart Jacks were installed. The attached picture shows the completed work. These two components made the floor elevation consistant throughout the church. The floor was also Stabilized. Past or Jim and the church board were satisfied with the completed work, and the crew's clean up.    

Homeowner Kathy M. in Pasadena decided to get her settlement repaired by installing SmartJacks. Her home had some major issues with stability and her floor was sagging. Project Design Specialist Jason Sparks evaluated the crawl space and concluded that the home needed some major settlement repair. After sitting down and discussing the solution Kathy decided to move forward with the project. Bryan A. and his crew moved forward with the project and installed 10 SmartJacks, a 56-foot supplemental beam, and two push piers. After seeing the work Bryan and his crew did she had peace of mind and knew that our solution was a long-term viable solution. 

Project Design Specialist Jon P. visited Pasadena homeowner Bob M. to evaluate Bob's home. Some of the doors were hard to open, there were cracks in the walls, and Bob could detect settling in the center of his home. Jon assessed the situation and recommended the installation of a metal beam in the crawlspace, supported by SmartJacks. Each SmartJack includes heavy-duty threaded rods which allow for adjustment and a custom fit for each jack. Bob writes about Jon, "I would say you have a winner in Jon. Every question answered and his answers made sense. I could see where our foundations were failing and how he proposed to fix them."
