Homeowners in Diamond Bar, Ca had noticed signs of settlement in and around their propriety.  After doing some research on the web for the best way to resolve their foundation settlement issue, they contracted Saber.  A design specialist from Saber went to the home to do a property evaluation and found that the property did have some underlying soils issues which were causing the home to show the signs of settlement, interior and exterior cracks in the walls and the slab.  The design specialist proposed to resolve the issue by installing push piers at 11 different locations around the property and to lift and stabilize the property using PolyLEVEL™.  The crew from Saber worked diligently to complete the project.  There were several areas that needed to have concrete removed in order for the piers to be placed at the proper locations.  The concrete was cut out and then the holes were excavated and the piers were installed.  Once all the piers had been installed the home was lifted to maximum practical recovery, and the then PolyLEVEL™ was used to fill the void that had formed under the foundation once the property was raised.  The homeowners no longer see the signs of settlement and know that their property is once again stable and settlement will no longer be an issue. 

Diamond Bar Tennis Club/ Firstservice Residential contacted Saber regarding Foundation issues in one of their apartments. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a thorough inspection of the building. One area of the concrete had a void under it. This was causing substantial cracking in that area of the Foundation only. This was both inside the apartment, and on the patio area.   Our Crew removed the cracked areas of concrete. These cracks were too substantial to used PolyLevel Void Filler to correct the issue. We then prepared the areas where the concrete was removed, and replaced it with new concrete. We also checked to make sure the entire Apartment now has constant elevation. Diamond Bar resident Xin Z. contacted Saber regarding sinking floors in his home. Xin's home is built on a slab. Voids had formed under the concrete slab, causing it to crack and sink. Saber's crew drilled holes through the flooring and the concrete slab. We then injected Polyurethane into the voids using our State-of-the-Art PolyLevel Injection Process.  The floors now have a constant elevation, and Xin has peace of mind.

Diamond Bar resident Harry W. contacted Saber regarding a Exterior Cracked Wall, that was running down the length of his Home. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a Thorough Home Inspection. Voids were Located under the Foundation, where the wall was Cracking. Our Crew excavated holes next to the wall. We attached Push Piers and Pressurized them. See the attached picture. This lifted the area that was sinking. This also gave the Foundation Consistent Elevation. We then filled the Voids with Polyurethane. This Stabilized the Foundation.

Wall and Floor Cracks Raised Serious Foundation Concerns A homeowner in Diamond Bar became increasingly concerned about the structural condition of a home originally built in 1985 after discovering cracks forming throughout both the walls and flooring. Over time, the cracks continued worsening, raising concerns about ongoing foundation settlement and long-term structural safety. Having lived in the home for decades, the homeowner wanted to ensure the property remained stable and secure for years to come. In addition to concerns about worsening settlement damage, the homeowner also worried that Southern California seismic activity and earthquake conditions could place additional stress on an already compromised foundation system. Foundation Inspection Identified Settlement & Soil Voids During the inspection, the foundation repair specialists at Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair identified active foundation settlement affecting portions of the home. The inspection also revealed underlying soil voids beneath sections of the concrete slab, contributing to cracking and instability throughout the flooring system. As the soil beneath the home shifted and weakened over time, portions of the foundation and slab lost support, creating structural stress that transferred throughout the property. Without permanent stabilization, the settlement and concrete damage would likely continue worsening over time. Helical Pier Foundation Repair Solution To permanently stabilize the settling foundation, the team recommended installing a helical pier underpinning system designed to transfer the structural load of the home onto deeper, stable load-bearing soil beneath the weak upper soil layers. Heavy-duty steel helical piers were mechanically advanced deep beneath the foundation where they could anchor securely into competent supporting soils. Once installed, the helical pier system permanently reinforced the foundation and helped protect the home against continued settlement and structural movement. Helical piers are commonly used throughout Southern California foundation repair projects because they provide reliable long-term support in areas with unstable or shifting soil conditions. PolyLevel® Concrete Void Filling & Stabilization In addition to stabilizing the foundation, the crew also addressed the void spaces beneath the concrete slab using PolyLevel® polyurethane foam injection technology. The expanding polyurethane foam was injected beneath the affected slab areas where it rapidly expanded to fill underlying gaps and improve support conditions beneath the concrete. This process helped stabilize the slab, reduce movement, and address the cracking caused by unsupported sections of flooring. Unlike traditional mudjacking methods, PolyLevel® provides a lightweight and minimally invasive solution designed to stabilize settled concrete without adding excessive weight to already compromised soils. The Results By combining helical pier foundation stabilization with PolyLevel® concrete void filling, Saber Foundation & Concrete Repair successfully addressed both the structural settlement and slab instability affecting the property.   The repairs helped stabilize the home, reduce the risk of future structural movement, and provide the homeowner with long-term peace of mind knowing the foundation was permanently reinforced against ongoing settlement issues and Southern California soil conditions.

Homeowners in West Covina, had noticed several areas in and around their home that were cause for concern.  There were cracks forming in the interior and exterior walls of the home and the doors and windows were becoming difficult to open and close. A family in Covina called Saber when they found that they needed to take action on their settling pool deck. They wanted their pool to look level and cleaner for the next summer season. After Saber came out and determined that PolyLevel was the best fit for the problem, a crew was dispatched to fix the concrete without removing and replacing the slabs. Inconspicuous holes were bored into key areas in the pool deck and the slab elevations were closely monitored as PolyLevel was injected. A home in Upland, California was suffering from serious foundation settlement.  Large cracks in had formed in the slab and walls of the home and areas of the floors were sagging and walls were bowing.  The homeowner was concerned with what was going on with the home, so they began to research options on how to repair or replace the foundation.  They found that replacing the foundation all together would not only be extremely expensive, but also very time consuming, and could possibly only cover the problem, since the real issue is with the soils beneath the foundation.  The homeowner knew that wanted something for a permanent fix, but something that would not break the bank.  The homeowners researched several options and found that Saber with their many years in business and positive reviews would be the best option.  A design specialist from Saber came to the property and competed an evaluation.  The homeowner liked the proposal and set an appointment for the crew to come out and get the work started.  The crew came out to the home and prepped 5 areas where helical piers would be located, 13 areas for push piers and 4 SmartJacks to be added,  in order to repair the foundation of the home.  The holes were excavated and the piers were installed.  Once that was complete the holes were backfilled.  The crew also added SmartJacks to an area of the home that was on a crawlspace to protect the home from any future settlement.
