Monrovia resident Carlos G. contacted Saber about strengthening his raised foundation against seismic activity.  A Saber design specialist performed a free evaluation of Carlos' property and determined that seismic strengthening was the best solution. Foreman Jordan S. and crew arrived on time and ready to work. They installed the Universal Foundation Plates throughout the work area, strengthening the sill plate and foundation bond.  Carlos was very happy with the seismic strengthening work performed, giving Jordan and crew a great review.

A home in La Habra, California was suffering from settlement issues, the signs of settlement in the home were very evident from cracks in the walls and ceilings, to sticking doors and windows.  The homeowner knew something needed to be done to fix the issues that were occurring at the home.  The homeowner did some research and found that Saber was the company for him.  The design specialist proposed that the foundation be repaired using push piers and polyLEVEL™ for stabilization and lift to maximum practical recovery.  The Saber production crew was scheduled to complete the project.  They arrived at the home and went straight to work, cutting concrete and excavating holes at the proposed (7) pier locations for the best results.  They then installed the piers.  The piers were installed at the foundations footings and driven into the ground until they reached bedrock below.  They were then set up to lift the property, once the lift was compete the polyLEVEL™ was injected to further stabilize the property and attempt to lift the property more.   Once the lift and PolyLEVEL™ injection was completed the holes were then backfilled and the concrete was re-poured. The cracks that had formed around the property were then repaired by the Saber crew, they repaired the cracks that had formed in the walls and slabs around the property.  The homeowner was very pleased with the work completed and is happy to know his investment is now stabilized.

La Habra residents Luke amd Megan J. contacted Saber regarding upgrading the California Building Code for Earthquakes. Saber's crew attached Universal Foundation Plates (see attached picture), A35 Framing Angles, and Post Caps in the Home's Crawlspace.  The Homeowners now have Peace of Mind.

Mira Loma resident Betty F. contacted Saber regarding cracks in the walls of her home. Our Project Design Specialist performed a complete home evaluation. Right away, our specialist, could feel the house was not level when he walked in. Our crew replaced some slanted, deteriorating wooden posts with metal Smart Jacks. This leveled the house and also prevented further damage. Betty was happy with the results and the clean up.

Fullerton resident Greg contacted Saber regarding cracking concrete in the home he wanted to sell. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a thorough inspection.The foundation was cracked in the interior and around the exterior edges. Saber's crew injected PolyLevel under the slab to fill the voids that had formed under the slab. The attached picture shows a Saber crew member injecting PolyLevel.We then attached Foundation Piers to the base of the outside areas of the concrete slab. These two procedures raised the homes slab on the interior, and the outer edges. This also made the elevation of the slab consistant. This solved the issues Greg was having. George was happy with the results, and was able to put his house on the market.

Fullerton resident Frank contacted Saber regarding gaps he'd noticed in his home's Foundation in 2009. The Home was built in 2000 and Frank was the original homeowner. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a complete inspection of Frank's home. Frank had previously tried to fix this issue by jacking up the Foundation, and pouring cement over it, and filling up the hole. This isn't a industry standard way to strengthen a Foundation. The Jack will eventually fail, and it is surrounded by solid cement. This creates a lot of Debris removal to fix. It can also cause the job, to correct this issue, to take longer. A example of this is shown in the attached Picture. Our Crew removed all of these Jacks and concrete that were done incorrectly. Then we cut the excess concrete off of the Foundation to make the Foundation flush with the home. We then attached Foundation Piers to the base of the Foundation, to strengthen it. These lifted the areas of the Foundation that had sunk. Then we also installed Tiebacks to Stabilize Franks home from side to side. Last of all we filled the holes next to the Foundation correctly. Frank was happy with the results of the job that was done correctly.

Fullerton resident Cecilia S. contacted Saber regarding Seismic Retrofitting her home. Our Project Design Specialist performed a Free Homeowner Inspection of the Crawlspace in Cecilia's home. Our crew installed Universal Foundation Plates (pictured), A35 Framing Angles, and Post Caps to strengthen the connections between Cecilia's Home and Foundation. This also Strengthened the connection of the Support Posts on both ends.

Fullerton resident Peter G. contacted Saber regarding cracks in the Foundation of his home. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a Free three hour Homeowner Inspection. There were Voids under the Foundation. These Voids were causing the Foundation to sink and crack. The floors were sagging due to failing Support Posts in the Crawlspace. After years of Earthquakes, Peter's Home was starting to slide on it's Foundation. Our crew excavated holes. We then attached and Pressurized Push Piers to the Base of the Foundation. See the attached picture. This Lifted and Strengthened the Foundation. The Voids were then Filled with Polyurethane to Stabilize the Foundation. Universal Foundation Plates and A35 Framing Angles were attached to Peter's Home and Foundation. These Seismic Retrofit Components strengthen the connection between the Home and It's Foundations. I Beams were then placed under the Floor Joists. These I Beams were then lifted and Held in Place by all metal Smart Jacks. This eliminated the Sagging Floors.

Project Design Specialist and real estate veteran Ken F. was asked to perform an evaluation of the Fullerton home of Stacey H. Ken helps homeowners and homebuyers by providing a thorough evaluation of a home's foundation before a home is sold or purchased. He assessed that her home required stabilization of the floor support system. She had this to say about her experience with Ken and Saber: "Ken was great!  Homeowner Craig D. has an older home in Fullerton. Due to the earthquake activity that is common in southern California, Craig wanted to invest in retrofitting his home. Project Design Specialist Paul D. did Craig's evaluation. Craig liked what he heard and went ahead with the project. Craig stated, "When doing our research, we found that Saber was rated highly and was a leader in doing this type of work." After Foreman Eric A. and his crew completed the job, Craig gave a top rating of Very Satisfied. He writes, "Eric A. was very knowledgeable and professional.
