Fixing a Cracked Concrete Foundation in Apple Valley
Apple Valley resident Jack T. contacted Saber regarding cracking in the concrete slab Foundation of his home. He had previously tried to repair this issue himself, by trying to grind the concrete. This didn't level the Foundation like he hoped. Jack told Saber that he was looking for a permanent solution to this issue. Our Project Design Specialist performed a thorough inspection, and provided a written evaluation of how to fix this issue. The soils had shifted under the slab. This had created voids. Parts of the slab were sinking, which was causing the cracking. The attached picture shows the home's foundation before we started our work. Saber's Crew drilled holes through the slab and into the voids. Then, using Saber's State-of-the-Art PolyLevel Injection Process, we filled the voids with polyurethane. This raised the areas of the slab that had sunk. Now the entire home Foundation had a constant elevation.  Jack was pleased with the results. Saber had solved his problem, and gave him peace of mind.
Foundation Needs Help in Anza
Anza resident Eric W. contacted Saber regarding Sagging Floors, and Hard to Open Windows and Doors. Our Project Design Specialist performed a thorough Home Inspection. Voids were discovered under the Foundation, causing it to sink. The components used, to install these Support Posts, weren't California Building Code Approved. See attached Picture. Saber recommended attaching Foundation Piers and Pressurizing them, to Lift the Foundation back to a Consistent Elevation. These Piers Strengthen the Foundation. Then we suggested Filling the Voids with Polyurethane, to Stabilize the Foundation. Last of all we thought that attaching steel I Beams, to the existing Floor Joists, would Stabilize the Floors. We would then install All Metal Smart Jacks and Pressurize them. This would give the Floor Consistent Elevation, and eliminate the sagging. Raising Slabs around the pool deck in Yucaipa
Homeowners in Yucaipa,  had noticed separation and cracks that had formed in the slab of their pool deck.  These are all signs of soil settlement.  This type of settlement is due to the expansive soils beneath the homes foundation.  The homeowners knew they needed to find a fix for this issue before it became much more serious, however; they knew that they wanted to find a fix that would be best for them and not too disruptive to their lives.  The homeowners did some research and found Saber, they set an appointment for a Saber design specialist to come to the property for a free property evaluation.  The design specialist proposed that the pool slabs  be stabilized and lifted to maximum practical recovery using PolyLEVEL™.  The Crew arrived and went to work using the proposed design to map out the locations in which the PolyLEVEL™ would be injected for the best results.  PolyLEVEL™ was injected beneath the slabs to fill any voids and to lift and stabilize the the pool deck.  Once the PolyLEVEL™ set up the slabs are now stabilized and lifted to maximum practical recovery,  The homeowners no longer see the signs of settlement that once plaqued their pool deck and caused tripping hazards.  The cracks that had formed are now closed and the uneven concrete was once again level.
