Piering to Lift a Home in Brawley
A homeowner in Brawley California knew he was having issues with his foundation when he noticed cracks and a slope to the front of his house. The brick trim was pulling away from the rest of the home. He called Saber to receive a free inspection and estimate for the repairs.
After a project design specialist was able to complete an inspection, it was recommended that piers be installed down into the bedrock to stabilize and lift the home. The homeowner was eager to begin the project and looked forward to the crew's arrival.
Once the crew arrived to begin the project, they commenced removing concrete and soil in order to place each pier, previously mapped out on plans. Once the piers were successfully placed, the soil and concrete was expertly replaced after the desired height of lift was secured.
The homeowner was pleased with the efficiency of the crew and the success of the job. Other than further cosmetic repairs caused by the initial settlement of the home, everything on the home was back to level.

SmartJack System Supports in Crawlspace in Arroyo Grande, Ca.
I home in Arroyo Grande, Ca. was seeing symptoms of foundation failure. The home was built in 2001 and the current homeowner had lived there since 2008. They started noticing sagging floors over the past year and wanted to know what they could do to fix it. They were worried about the integrity of their flooring due to the slope. Before calling Saber, they had tried small patches and other fixes and nothing worked.
After Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a manometer reading and full inspection of their large crawlspace, it was determined that a SmartJack support system and supplemental support beams would be required in order to raise the main floors back to level and support them, keeping them from further sagging. There was also a center wall that was receiving no support from the sagging floor.
After the installation of the SmartJacks, they acted as a new girder beam in between existing girder beams. The existing beams had been poorly spaced, causing the floor above to begin to sag over time without proper support.
