Homeowner Elizabeth S. in Oceanside had a problem with her pool deck. The weight of the pool had caused a crevice to form between the decorative brick surrounding the pool and the concrete walkway. This was not only unsightly, but also unsafe. Project Design Specialist Steven O. recommended our 2-part Concrete Protection System. This consists of the injection of PolyLevel for stabilization and the installation of Nexus Pro joint sealant to repair the crevice. The work was done by Foreman Scott L. and his crew. The old caulking was removed and backer rod was installed, then the Nexus Pro. PolyLevel was injected into 21 holes around the pool deck for stabilization and then filled with grout. The results exceeded Elizabeth's expectations. She writes, "Scott and his partner were very professional, efficient and courteous. There is no sign anyone worked on my pool deck because they cleaned up behind themselves. They make a great team!" Homeowners Jo and Michael K. in Moorpark opted for our Seismic Retrofitting service. The 1959 home that they have been living in for the past 40 years started showing interior cracks a year ago and their problems started becoming worse within the past few months. Project Design Specialist Eamon R. during the inspection found that there were cracks outside and inside the home. Eamon also found that a concrete pad was deteriorating which was the main factor why the homeowners had their issues. He purposed two new posts with pads and caps paired with a post and cap replacement. The project was led by Bryan A. and his crew and was completed in no time! Aguanga resident Robert Y. contacted Saber in regards to sagging floors in his home. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a Free Homeowner inspection. The Crawlspace had several floor support posts that were in the process of sliding off of their concrete bases. Saber recommended attaching crossbeams to the existing floor joists. Then we recommended supporting these new crossbeams with all metal Smart Jacks. Robert received Saber's 30 day written quote and a copy of the home inspection.

Newbury Park resident contacted Saber regarding Cracks that were causing Trip Hazards in her deck. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a thorough and free homeowner inspection. The soils has settled under the patio. This had created voids. These voids had caused some of the concrete slabs to sink under the patio tile.  Our Crew drilled holes through the concrete into the voids. Saber then filled the voids and lifted the sunken slabs using our State-of-the-Art PolyLevel Injection system. This solved the trip hazard issue.

Newbury Park resident Dora D. contacted Saber regarding cracks running through her tile patio. See the attached picture. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a thorough inspection of Dora's home. Voids had formed under the concrete patio slab. Our crew drilled holes through the slab and into the voids. We then filled these voids with Polyurethane, using Saber's State-of-the-Art PolyLevel Injection Process. This gave the slab a consistant elevation. Then we filled the cracks with grout. Dora was happy with the completed work.

Severe Foundation Cracks and Uneven Floors Alarmed Homeowners A family in Morongo Valley became increasingly concerned as small foundation cracks throughout their home rapidly worsened into major signs of structural settlement. What began as a thin crack within the concrete floor eventually expanded into a large jagged separation that spread throughout the home. As the settlement progressed, tiles loosened from the floor, wall cracks expanded throughout the living room, and interior doors became difficult to open and close. The homeowners feared not only for the safety and structural integrity of the property, but also for the long-term impact the damage could have on the home’s value. To permanently stabilize the structure, the team recommended a combination of push piers and slab piers engineered specifically for settling slab foundations in Southern California desert environments. Push Pier & Slab Pier Foundation Repair To stabilize the perimeter footing, the crew excavated small access areas beside the settling foundation sections and installed heavy-duty steel push piers beneath the home. These push piers were hydraulically advanced deep into stable load-bearing soil beneath the weak upper soil layers responsible for the settlement. To address the interior slab settlement, specialized slab piers equipped with helical-style bearing plates were installed beneath the cracked concrete floor areas. These slab piers were designed to grip stable supporting soils beneath the slab and restore structural support to the affected sections of the home. Once the pier systems reached proper depth and capacity, the crew carefully transferred the structural load of the home onto the newly installed foundation supports. This controlled lifting process helped raise the settled floor areas back toward their original elevation while reducing stress throughout the structure. After stabilization was completed, the crew restored the work areas, replaced damaged flooring sections, and thoroughly cleaned the property. The entire repair project was completed in approximately three days with minimal disruption to the homeowners. The Results Immediately following the repairs, the homeowners noticed significant improvements throughout the home. Floors felt level again, interior doors operated smoothly, and the foundation cracks stopped worsening. A follow-up inspection confirmed that the home was now securely supported by the newly installed pier system. A home in Vista, California was suffering from settlement issues, the signs of settlement in the home were very evident from cracks in the walls and ceilings, to sticking doors and windows.  The homeowner knew something needed to be done to fix the issues that were occurring at the home.  The homeowner did some research and found that Saber was the company for him.  The design specialist proposed that the foundation be repaired using push piers and polyLEVEL™ for stabilization and lift to maximum practical recovery.  The Saber production crew was scheduled to complete the project.  They arrived at the home and went straight to work, excavation holes at the proposed pier locations for the best results.  They then installed the piers.  The piers were installed at the foundations footings and driven into the ground until they reached bedrock below.  They were then set up to lit the property, once the lift was compete the polyLEVEL™ was injected to further stabilize the property and attempt to lift the property more.   Once the lift and PolyLEVEL™ injection was completed the holes were then backfilled. The cracks that had formed around the property were then repaired by the Saber crew, they repaired the cracks that had formed in the walls and slabs around the property.  The homeowner was very pleased with the work completed and is happy to know his investment is now stabilized.
