Concrete Leveling & Joint Sealant Repair in Los Angeles, CA
This before-and-after photo set showcases a concrete leveling and joint sealant repair project completed in Los Angeles, California. Over time, sections of the concrete patio and walkway had settled, creating uneven surfaces, widening joints, and visible separation between slabs.
Saber Foundation Repair corrected the issue by professionally leveling the sunken concrete, restoring a smooth and even walking surface. Once the concrete was stabilized, high-performance joint sealant was applied to the control joints and gaps to help block water intrusion, reduce soil erosion beneath the slabs, and protect against future movement.
Concrete settlement is common in the Los Angeles area due to soil conditions, drainage patterns, and natural ground movement. This repair eliminated trip hazards, improved the appearance of the patio area, and extended the life of the existing concrete without the need for full replacement. Concrete leveling combined with joint sealing is an effective, long-lasting solution for homeowners throughout Los Angeles and surrounding Southern California communities.
PolyLevel(R) Used To Fix Driveway In Costa Mesa
Before photo shows a concrete slab that has settled into a void causing a tripping hazard and is very unappealing. After photo shows the concrete slab after it was injected with PolyLevel(R) to be raised and stabilized. The slab had its old sealant removed to our Nexus pro sealant installed. Sealant pro will protect the longevity of the concrete as well as keep our and liquids from going into the cracks.
PolyLEVEL™ in Costa Mesa
In Costa Mesa, California, Saber Foundations was contracted to fix an issue of sever concrete settlement. The settlement was most likely caused by the combined weight of the concrete and what is supporting it. The soil beneath the concrete compresses and can cause major problems. Like the ones shown in this before photo, the concrete had settled and the walls had begun to show the signs of the settlement by gapping. Saber was able to quickly and affordably fix the issue for this homeowner, by using the PolyLEVEL™ process. The PolyLEVEL™ process is a two part foam used to inject into the ground to form a fill that is strong yet light weight. This process was completed and the end result was that of closing the gaps that the concrete sinking had caused. The great thing about PolyLEVEL™ is it waterproof, it does not react with soil or water, and does not leak hazardous chemicals into the soil. It also cures very quickly, so the process is messy and disruptive, in comparison to other foundation-lifting techniques.
